The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) are four anthropomorphic turtle brothers trained in ninjutsu who fight evil in New York City. The turtles, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, are named after the Italian Renaissance artists Leonardo da Vinci, Donato di Niccolò di Betto Bardi, Raffaello Sanzio da Urbino, and Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni.
The four turtles appear as playable skaters in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 and were added in the game via an update. They appear in the style of the comic series published by IDW.
On June 7, 2025 it was revealed that Michelangelo (now sporting the character design seen in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem) will be included as a playable skater in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4. At this time it is not known if his other three brothers will be playable, as in 5.
