Skate Heaven is a level featured in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. This level is set in outer space. It is an unlockable secret level along with Chopper Drop or Crane Drop in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X, where you must get 100% in career mode with every character in the game, aside from Private Carrera.

Differences Between Games

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X

Skate Heaven received a few changes, alongside other levels in the port.

An unusual-looking structure located near Tony Hawk's house was added, which can be skated on. Additionally, Tony's house is no longer a physical house but rather a complex abstract structure. The grass is now recolored to blue also.

The overall look of areas such as the Snake Run and the Sadlands received slight changes. They are more aesthetic than functional, as the areas the player skates in are the same as in other ports.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2

Much like many of the levels in 1+2, Skate Heaven received a massive graphic overhaul. Most areas now have neon lights strewn about, and there are several winged skateboards that fly around the area (presumably of those that fell into the void). Falling into the void

The San Dieguito 10 stair area has portals showing off the area the the spot is located (San Dieguito Academy, formerly San Dieguito Union High School).

Skate Heaven is a mix of various iconic skate spots located somewhere between Earth and The Moon. Portrayed locations include:

• The Wallows (Hawaii)
• Tony Hawk's backyard
• Animal Chin ramp
• Combi and Pipeline (Upland)
• The Sadlands (Anaheim Brookhurst Park)

Trivia

• In Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X, Skate Heaven is one of four levels to get a minor technical change in level design, as there is a new, strange, somewhat skateable structure located near Tony Hawk's house. The other levels to get new additions are Hangar (air traffic control tower), NY City (balconies on The hotel) and Chopper Drop (renamed Crane Drop)
• The Wallows area would later appear in the Hawaii level in Tony Hawk's Underground, while the Combi Bowl would appear in Vans Park in Tony Hawk's American Wasteland.

• This is the first and one of the few levels to take place off of planet Earth.
• It is notable that certain actions on this level are commented by some demonic voice, yelling "You suck!" or "You lose!" and laughing demonically whenever the skater fall out of bounds. Another voice says "Skate on, my son" at the beginning of the run.
• It is possible to start the eruption by grinding the rail on the San Dieguito building near the Sadlands sign.
• Falling into the erupting volcano will teleport the skater to the secret island area with the ramp from Animal Chin movie. It is referred to as Enema Island in "skip to restart" menu.
• Go to the "Animal Chin Ramp" and do the "Blow out a Hole" Gap to reveal the tunnel. Take a look inside and on the "Dark Side" of the tunnel you will notice an image that shows the "Neversoft" logo with wings and text that reads "We Are Watching You!" You may need to turn your brightness up to reveal the image as it is hard to see.
• The skater will always bail each time he/she attempts the "Clean the Pipes" gap. In order to complete the full pipe, the player has to do an ollie when he is going up, and that will somehow make him complete the pipe without bailing while he is upside down.
