San Francisco is a level featured in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4. It is based around the San Francisco docks and piers. It is the second level in the career mode of the game, although is revisited for pro goals and challenges later in the career. The level is well known for its fountain, aquatic animals, death defying roof gaps, and many balconies that allow for some great grinding opportunities.
Origin
San Francisco level is based on real life city of San Francisco and it is a spiritual successor of the Streets level from THPS1. Both levels are built around the Embarcadero, featuring Vaillancourt Fountain and Hubba Hideout. However the THPS4 version expands the list with Embarcadero Center, 3rd and Army skate spot, Pier 7, Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf. In the distance where the binoculars, Alcatraz can be seen.
Level Secrets
- If you look through a specific pair of binoculars in this level, you can see two prisoners running aimlessly around a prison cell in Alcatraz.
- There are Nokia cellphones in the shop and they are rather gigantic.
- There is a tram driving around the district, but it's not the famous SF tram.
