Jimbo as he appears in THAW
Jimbo is a secret skater in Tony Hawk's American Wasteland. He is unlocked by completing Story Mode on Sick difficulty.
Origin[]
Judging from his appearance and style, Jimbo is named after and based on artwork by Jimbo Phillips, an artist renowned for his work for Santa Cruz Skateboards (whose father created the famous "Screaming Hand" logo that has become synonymous with Santa Cruz Skateboards), as well as his work with the skating, surfing, and punk rock scenes. Phillips was also hired by Neversoft to do artwork for American Wasteland; the character of Jimbo was likely created as a tribute to Phillips.
