Tampa is the third level in Tony Hawk's Underground, where the Custom Skater competes at the Tampa AM contest in order to earn a major board sponsor.

Origin

It is based in the Tampa Bay Area, located in the United States of America. In 2004 the City was run by Mayor Jed.

Points of interest

• The Black Hole - Strip club featured in the level. It is based off of the 2001 Odyssey strip club near Tampa International Airport.
• Bro Bowl - A small 70's style skating bowl near the Tampa Am contest. Based on the real skatepark in downtown Tampa.
• Skatepark of Tampa - based off the real skatepark in Tampa. The Tampa Am contest is also featured in the game.

Trivia

• Mayor Jed is likely based on Jeb Bush who served as Governor of Florida from 1999 to 2007.
• The park next to the Bro Bowl has some public toilets with a drug addict stood outside and the sound of someone vomiting inside.
• Touching the alligator on the dock will cause the player to go out of bounds.
• When the player leaves the strip club, a message that reads "4 hours and 400 dollars later" implies the player probably just spend a significant amount of time and money on lap dances.
• A cop and a goat can be found behind the strip club. This marks the second time the goat easter egg is seen in the series.
• The skatepark area previously appeared as Tampa Skate Park in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X.
