Brandon Cole "Bam" Margera (born September 28, 1979), is an American former professional skateboarder, stunt performer, television personality, and filmmaker, first appearing in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.
Bam was one of the stars of MTV's Jackass and a member of the demonstration team for Element.

He is one of the stars of MTV's Jackass and a member of the demonstration team for Element. He is also sponsored by Destructo Trucks, Speed Metal Bearings, Electric Visual, and Fairman's Skateshop.
Bam Margera is now retired from professional skateboarding however, he has entered a collaboration effort for Heart Supply Skateboards.

Exclusively in the Game Boy Advance version, there is an unlockable skater named Fry Cook, which is Bam in a chef's outfit. It was planned to be included in the PlayStation version as evidenced by an unused model of it.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4[]
Bam Margera will be making his return to the series for the first time in 18 years since 2007's Tony Hawk's Proving Ground.
Initially, Margera, who first appeared in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and hadn't appeared in a Tony Hawk game since 2007's Tony Hawk's Proving Ground, was not going to return for this game, likely due to his struggles with alcoholism and subsequent legal troubles since the mid-2000s. Margera himself confirmed this via a livestream on his Instagram account on March 7, 2025, saying that he was not approached by Activision for the game at all and didn't do any work related to it.
However, on March 25, 2025 during the The Live Club skating podcast, co-host Roger Bagley claimed that Tony Hawk contacted Activision and demanded to them to include Margera in the game. In a interview with TMZ on April 18, Margera said that Activision has not contact him about appearing in the remake and that the "deadline" to add more skaters has passed; indicating that he wouldn't be in the game. Despite this, on May 9, 2025, Bam was officially confirmed to be included in Pro Skater 3+4.
Trivia[]
- In Tony Hawk's Underground Bam Margera didn't wear a shirt at all, it's slightly downplayed in Tony Hawk's Underground 2 where he wore a unzipped long coat but he still wore no shirt (at least covering his pecs).
- In the PlayStation version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4, there is an unused model of a character named Fry Cook, resembling Bam in a chef's outfit.
- If the player remains idle in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 character selection screen Bam will punch himself in the face.
- Bam is noticeably missing from the Tony Hawk's Underground 2 banner seen in the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Hangar Level. No official reasoning for this omission has been given, though two possible reasons include royalty and licensing issues and Bam's personal issues that were happening during the game's development.
- In the PS2/XBOX version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, Bam's shirt is a black HIM shirt. In the Beta version and the PC version, it is the white CKY2K shirt.
- In the PS1/N64 version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, he uses Jamie Thomas's grip tape.
